Rates DO NOT include in-country flights, $100 use permits for Coiba Island National Park, and any drinks, meals, or other expenses you might incur in Panama City. Also not included are tips (generally 10% and best paid in cash), which are divided among your boat captain, mate, and the service crew on the barge, all of whom work very hard to help make your experience an enjoyable one.
NOTE: If fuel prices “spike,” it may be necessary to add a fuel surcharge to your rate.

Due to a change in regulations, all fish caught within Coiba Island National Park, where we do much of our fishing, must now be released. This does not apply to pelagic species caught outside of the park boundaries. However, for many of our return customers, this means you will not need to bring a cooler for transporting fish home. These new National Park catch-and-release regulations are an important effort by Panama to help protect and provide a world-class sport fishery that can be enjoyed by anglers both today and in the future.
